Two intensive days of veterinary laser surgery: theory, live surgery and hands-on wet labs

This two-day course on veterinary laser surgery is a new edition of the course held in December 2025, set up in response to many requests. It combines advanced theory with practical hands-on wet lab training. The lasers covered are CO2, diode, blue light, holmium-YAG and thulium.

The first day focuses on the theoretical foundations and clinical applications of laser surgery at AniCura Saventa in Zaventem. A live surgery is broadcast from the minimally invasive OR1 surgical theatre, with the possibility of interaction. The day ends with a group dinner at Van der Valk Hotel Brussels Airport, a chance to network with colleagues.

The second day is devoted to hands-on wet lab training at the ORSI Training Center in Melle. Transport from Zaventem to ORSI and back is organised. Places are limited to 25 participants to ensure enough hands-on time.

• Course fee includes two days of education, lectures, wet lab participation, group dinner on Monday evening and transport between Zaventem and ORSI on Tuesday
• Dinner and shuttle buses are free but must be booked in advance during registration; a €75 no-show fee applies if you register for the dinner but do not attend
• Shuttle on Tuesday from Van der Valk Hotel Brussels Airport to ORSI, and back in the evening to Van der Valk Zaventem or Brussels Airport
• Group dinner at Van der Valk Hotel Brussels Airport in Zaventem
• Registration is open until 22 January 2027, 16:00
• Cancellation: full refund up to and including 25 December 2026, 50% refund from 26 December 2026 to 10 January 2027, no refund afterwards; registration can be transferred to another participant
• Participants arrange their own travel and accommodation
